Former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen has filed suit against various media outlets claiming they have unfairly portrayed him as a walking financial disaster. Among those being sued are CBSsports.com, CNBC.com, and Arizona State University. Pippen claims these media circuits falsely reported him as having gone bankrupt, including him in several stories about NBA players who have gone bankrupt. Pippen claims that he has a net worth of more than $40 million dollars and has so for the last 10 years. In the lawsuits Pippen is seeking $1 million dollars in damages from each media outlet.
