Boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather will not have to begin serving his 90 day jail sentence for his domestic violence charge against baby mama Josie Harris, until after his May 5th fight. Mayweather’s attorney’s stated that he is not trying to avoid the sentence but cited the economic boost that Las Vegas would get from the fight. The judge agreed to the terms but ordered the boxer to immediately enroll in a year long domestic violence counseling program. In the courtroom to support Floyd were rapper Lil’ Kim, Ray J and Mayweather’s managers.
It is undetermined who will be Floyd’s unlucky opponent for the Cinco de Mayo fight. The projected income boost from the fight is said to be around $100 million. Best of luck to Floyd…but please keep your hands to yourself until May.
