Now…you know we over here at The M looove King Bey. However, we’re reserving our opinions about this track for now. *sneaky grin*– But feel free to let us know how YOU feel about it.
I guess being America‘s #1 power couple and having the Obamas in your call log can’t open every door in the world. According to Boston’s Fox25, Jay-Z and wife Beyonce have been trying to trademark the name of their firstborn baby girl, Blue Ivy since shortly after her birth in January. Beyonce had reportedly filed the petition in hopes of one day starting a clothing line using the name. However, her hopes were dashed when the U.S Patent and Trademark Office ruled in favor of a Boston event planning company who have already trademarked the name Blue Ivy for their business and have been using it since 2009.
I wonder how much cash King Bey would be willing to dish out to buy the name from it’s owner Veronica Alexandra. No talks of such bribery just yet…but I’m almost willing to bet it’s going to at least be a thought. hmmm 🙂
Beyonce has dropped out of Clint Eastwood’s adaptation of “A Star Is Born“. The singer announced lastweek that she was no longer available and that their schedules just didn’t match up.
Beyonce said in a statement, “For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”
Beyonce and Eastwood were paired on the project in January of last year, with the production spending nearly two years searching for a worthy leading man.
Delays also came when Beyonce gave birth to a star of own, Blue Ivy Carter, her daughter with rap mogul husband Jay-Z who was born in January of this year.
Eastwood made headlines at the end of summer for an appearance at the Republican National Convention, speaking at length to an empty chair meant to represent the President Obama who is a personal friend to Beyonce. Hmmm…just maybe there’s another little reason the pop diva wants nothing to do with this film.
Ever wish your phone could charge itself when you’re out and about with no “juice”? Well, if you’re like me and feel like you’ll die if you don’t carry your phone charger everywhere you go…then you’ll love what Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z is up to now. Jigga is partnering with Duracell and Powermat to be the new spokesperson for Wireless Power Nation. It’s a system that will be installed on tables in bars, and other public places to allow people to charge their phones by just placing it on the table. There are also talks of a Google app that will show hotspots near your location. What a power move! According to sources Jay already has the system set up in his 40/40 club. Can’t wait!
