Now…you know we over here at The M looove King Bey. However, we’re reserving our opinions about this track for now. *sneaky grin*– But feel free to let us know how YOU feel about it.
Although Keys’ new album only sold 159,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan, which was the lowest opening week of sales for any of her previous albums….she now sits pretty back at the top of the charts beating out not only our favorite Black rock chick…but also country starlet Taylor Swift, as well as Rod Stewart. Congrats to A. Keys from The M. 🙂
Beyoncé will “definitely” be ready with new music before she takes the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for her performance at Super Bowl halftime show on February 3rd, says singer/songwriter/producer extraordinaire The-Dream.
When asked by Billiboard Magazine whether Beyonce had new songs on the way, The-Dream responded: “Definitely. She’s got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she’s in a place where she’s ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan.”
The-Dream also said that he’s “involved in every part of the process” for Beyoncé’s upcoming fifth album, after co-writing five songs on her last album, 4.
“She’s already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out,” The-Dream said. “I’m sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here.”
Next year is shaping up to be a busy one for Beyoncé. Along with the Super Bowl show, and the growing possibility of a new record, on February 16th HBO will premiere a new documentary, directed by Beyoncé, that explores her performing, recording and, of course, parenting duties.

For the last two years, some of the most painful episodes of Usher’s personal life have played out in the media – much of which he has been heavily criticized for by some. In his new video for the single “Numb,” the singer attempts to artistically address his recent struggles and implies that he has worked through his pain.
The video begins with footage of Usher when he walked off stage during a performance in Berlin in January of last year. “I felt like a failure, hopeless, paralyzed, numb,” he told Oprah during a recent interview for Oprah’s Next Chapter. After which, is a montage of clips showing the singer partying, performing, being a father, and sitting beside a woman in the hospital. All of which illustrate the past few years of his life. Throughout the video, Usher is seen dancing in a glass box, which he breaks free from in the end. Watch the video below!
